Conkling Fiskum & McCormick was formed in 1990 as a spinout of Tektronix, Inc. Today, CFM is a leading provider in the Northwest of public affairs, strategic communications, consumer marketing and opinion research services. And, we’ve gained global reach as part of a network of independent public relations firms, Pinnacle Worldwide.

CFM‘s principals led Tek’s public affairs department in Beaverton, Oregon. Its mission was to help achieve the Fortune 500 Company’s local, state and federal public policy goals. Members of Tek’s lobbying team shaped advances in manufacturing, trade, R&D, education and environmental initiates for Oregon’s emerging high-technology industry.

By design, CFM expanded from public affairs to strategic communications – managing issues, establishing thought leadership and marketing ideas.

Later. CFM added an in-house research department as well as consumer product and social marketing teams.
