Elizabeth Slater

Bio

Senior Associate for Public Affairs

When Elizabeth Slater joined CFM in 2007, she brought with her a love of economics, an eye for design and Web content and an addiction to politics. That combination has allowed her to bridge the business lines within CFM. Elizabeth focuses on marketing communications and grassroots campaigns in Portland and works in Salem as part of the firm's state legislative team.

Elizabeth provides government affairs services to clients who have business at the state Capitol. She also works closely with the public affairs and strategic communications teams to provide grassroots campaign coordination, media outreach and online media insights.

She puts her Web skills to use for CFM's Web site, as well as assisting with design, copywriting and launching client Web sites.

Elizabeth came to CFM in 2006 as an intern for Partner Norm Eder while she finished her undergraduate education. During that time she worked on workforce development initiatives.

She graduated from the University of Oregon, where she co-founded Women in Business, a social network for women pursuing business careers. She has a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and Bachelor of Science in economics.

Elizabeth is an avid snowboarder and gardener, and is always up for going on long trail runs.

Engaging Mommy Bloggers

Engaging Mommy Bloggers One of the most powerful ways to market your brand to consumers is via social media. An established, powerful group of influencers that are a vital branch of the social media tree are alpha moms. Acting independently, members of this little known, but highly motivated group, are shaping consumer attitudes. Have you been good to your alpha mom lately? Comments (0)
